A group of music-loving students, we have embraced the values of unity and cooperation as we explore the realms of classical music and Taiwanese folk songs, immersing ourselves in diverse musical styles. Throughout our practice sessions, we have encountered numerous challenges, which we have triumphed over by sharing and learning from each other's techniques, resulting in vibrant and consistently improved performances. Chamber music thrives on the foundation of group rapport and transparent communication. It is not merely a platform for solo performances, but a collaborative endeavor. We understand that these essential elements are crucial for our success.

Comprising students from junior and senior high school music classes, we proudly form the JIO ONE String Quartet. Together, we participated in the Wan Sheng String Quartet competition. This experience granted us the opportunity to explore the uniqueacoustic effects specific to string quartets. We quickly learned that precise intonation is paramount when performing harmonies composed by all four musicians. These experiences set us apart from individuals solely focused on solo performances, providing us with valuable insights into chamber music and the practice of harmony. We cherish the chance to delve into this distinct aspect of string instruments, an opportunity rarely afforded to us.

Third Prize:Seventeen

We are four 17-year-old teenagers, so we were named "Shiqi". It originated from the friendship between classmates for three years in junior high school. We studied together and played music together, and we developed a good understanding! Now in high school, although the four of us belong to four schools, we are like the four strings on a violin. We have a tacit understanding that connects us closely and we work together to play beautiful music.
